Get to Know Us

The Cherryfield Riverwalk follows the Narraguagus River through the heart of the Wild Blueberry Capital of the World.
Along the way you'll find a self-guided historical tour, three illustrated interpretive panels exploring salmon ecology and mill heritage, and quiet viewing areas where the river does the talking.

The Riverwalk connects directly to the 87 mile Downeast Sunrise Trail and links to the forested half mile trail system at the Weald Bethel Community Center, making Cherryfield a natural basecamp for exploring the Bold Coast on foot or by bike.
The Riverwalk serves as a gateway to Cherryfield's National Historic District and is designed to boost recreational access.
